SHYING A WAY BOOK LAUNCH
Rejmyre Art Lab's co-founder Daniel Peltz presented a new publication, Shying a Way, coming out of his long-term research, exploring the intersection of Rejmyre Art Lab's place-based, art pedagogy programme and the place-based, roving Pan-African Art School, Asiko, developed out of the CCA in Lagos, Nigeria. Peltz shared the work along with collaborators Nontobeko Ntombela and David Larsson.

Rejmyre Art Lab was hosting the U.S. based philanthropic project Ghost Host, initiated by the artist Tim Andreae. During four days the members conducted a workshop in Rejmyre to develop their processes and ways of working together as a group. Ghost Host is a philanthropic experiment that distributes funding in diverse ways.

Frida presents an art installation made of tissue paper that focuses on the lung – the working lung. The lung can also be understood metaphorically as the factory within the body of society, a metaphor for how a society is structured: its economy and welfare.

In the project Huldran och Hygget we turn our attention to the forest – or rather, to the place where a forest once stood. The process began with a conversation in a clear-cut near Rejmyre. Now the forest enters the glass factory and projects its traces through glass and light.
